In preparation for the new academic year, we’re making some changes to our online support resources to allow our customers even better access free support, advice and training.
We’re committed to providing our customers first class support when they need it. Our range of support options are available to help users wide a range of topics from learning how to use a new feature to asking a quick question.
Our ‘WalkMe’ videos, which showed virtual tutorials of the Content Management System basics, were useful for new website users or a quick recap on basic functionality, but feedback showed that they were not meeting the needs of most of our customer base and were clunky to use.
We have taken this feedback on board, and we’re excited to be rolling out a new era of support resources in the form of easy-to-use website tools and free webinars.
The resources will be updated by our team as new functionality is added to ensure it’s always the most up-to-date content, and customers can bookmark pages they need most frequently, to ensure ease of access as and when required.
Our new and improved online support resources
These new resources have been designed to help our customers get the most of their school website and find the answers they need at a time that suits them best.
The new online resource centre is packed full of handy hints, tips, videos and screenshots to help customers update and maintain their school website using the content management system (CMS).
This brand-new help centre has been curated and refined by our implementation and training specialists, with step-by-step instructions and ‘how to’ video snippets, using the same tone of voice and descriptions as you’d find in one of our training sessions.
Each area of the help centre is broken down into consumable content sections which also correlate to online webinars sessions for additional support.
Administrator Specific Content
This area includes instructions for users with an administrator role in the website CMS. It provides an in-depth look at the user manager and permissions, as well as admin-only functionality such as custom data, social media integration settings and calendar sync setup.
Create & Edit
Most users will be looking to create and edit pages on their website. This section also provides helpful guidance on archiving and publishing pages.
Everyday Engagement
Adding news stories, events and galleries is really easy and this area takes you through how to do it in a few simple steps.
Free Webinars
In addition to our online resources, we will also be offering free-to-access online webinars led by our implementation specialists. These webinars are ideal for new users to the CMS as well as for those looking to refresh their knowledge or learn something new.
Webinars will be available to book through our online training area and are free to join. We still offer one to one and bespoke training sessions and these can be booked through your Account Executive.
Supporting our schools & trusts
We are constantly working to provide users with more and better support. In addition to our online help resources and training, customers also have access to unlimited telephone and email support and a dedicated account executive.
We’re always here to provide support when you need it most.
